Mohawk Valley Consulting Associates (MVCA) is one of Mohawk Valley's leaders in the provision of employee assistance program services. MVCA offers professional guidance to you and your family members when personal or work-related problems become too difficult to manage alone.

MVCA offers the following specialized services:

- Crisis intervention for those who have experienced traumatic events

- Change management interventions to assist employees in resolving work-related porblems due to organizational restructuring

- Screenings for depression, anxiety, and substance abuse/addiction

- Employee Wellness Trainings

- Supervisor Trainings

OUR SERVICES

MVCA contracts with your employer to provide short-term interventions to resolve work-related or personal problems. During an initial visit or two, an EAP professional will evaluate you or your family member's reason for coming to our program. The appropriate form of intervention or treatment will be given or recommended at that time. If you, or your family member, requires more than the number of visits contracted by your employer, or more urgent care is required than provided by MVCA, you will be referred to the most appropriate resource to meet those needs.

Our professionals will provide information and an explanation of whether these external services will be covered through your health insurance or not. In cases where such coverage is not available or does not apply, every attempt will be made to identify and recommend affordable resources.

Confidentiality

Written records of all MVCA services are kept confidential and are unavailable to employers or others without your written consent. MVCA guarantees strict standards of privacy and confidentiality according to state and federal guidelines, unless disclosure of information is required by law or court order.

Voluntary* Free* Accessible

The choice of using your Employee Assistance Program is yours. The visits at MVCA are free to you and your family members, if your employer is providing this service as a health benefit. Services are easily accessible, just call our office at 733-1726 or 800-729-MVCA to make an appointment.
