Through it's Prevention and Education Department, the Council provides drug use and abuse awareness programs to area schools and day care facilities throughout the Mohawk Valley region. In the past 12 months, the staff has presented alcohol/drug education and presentations to more than 650 individuals, including Head Start Parent Groups, students, teachers, playground groups, MVCC in Utica, Community Groups, and workplaces.
